Childhood Memories at Crafting by Designs

It's time for a new challenge at Crafting by Designs and this week we're all about Childhood Memories. A Day for Daisies are our sponsor and I've used the Pretty Pony image from their shop. I remember sitting braiding the hair of My Little Ponies when I was a wee lassie and thought this image would be perfect for that!
I have coloured it with Promarkers and the DP I've used is Time Flies from Craftwork Cards. I've added some lilac lace and Memory Box die cuts with some Lavender Stickles. The sentiment is also from the CWC Time Flies kit. I've used Dusty Concord Distress Ink around some edges too.

Ike's World Challenges #22 Feathered Friends

Morning folks! This post is a bit on the late side but here nonetheless! It's time for a new challenge at Ike's World Challenges - #22 Feathered Friends. Pop over to the blog to see the winners from the last challenge and pick up a 'Freebie' for the new challenge!
I have used the image 'Poe Bust' which has a fabulous Raven on it's head! He's my 'feathered friend' for this project and I've gone Halloween-y with this one.
The papers are from Echo Park's Apothecary Emporium and I've used a sentiment from Create with TLC. I've finished the card with black organza and card candi.

The East Wind Challenge #15 Feel The Fall

Hi crafty folks and those passing by for a looky! It's time for a new challenge at The East Wind. This is #15 and the title is 'Feel the Fall'. Now most of the team have gone Autumn-y for this challenge, but for me, the Autumn and crispy leaves and darker nights mean it's nearly Halloween! So I've used the recent release 'Baby Aurora Witch and a Kitty' for my card.
I have coloured her with Promarkers and edged the image with Dusty Concord Distress Inks. The heart viewfinder is a Sarah Hurley cut file from the Silhouette Store cut on my cameo and backed with purple pearlescent paper. The DP is from a collection of Halloween-y bits I bought from a recent crafty clearance.... I want to say they are Graphic 45 but i'm not 100% sure!
The blingy embellishments are from my stash - not sure who makes them, I bought a load of embellies in bulk and most didn't have packaging to keep the postage costs down.
I will enter this in the following challenges -
Great Impressions - September Get your Spook on
The Corrosive Challenge - #208 Autumn/Fall
My Time to Craft - #258 Halloween
Vandicrafts - #8 All Hallows Eve
Art by MiRan - #14 Anything Goes
Crafts 4 Eternity - #193 Favourite Colour Combo (H'een - Purple, black, green, orange!)
Pattie's Creations - #99 Cat or Dog (Aurora has her kitty in her hat)
Simply Create Too - #70 Fall/Autumn
Sister Act Card Challenge - #74 Anything Goes

Welcome to my blog! Happy Friday folks. I have a little announcement and glad to share this with you all. I have the pleasure of joining the Design Team at the Brand New SLS Lines Challenge Blog! This is an exceptional team - so many amazing designers on there and a fabulous artist to inspire us all.
Our first challenge theme is 'Ladies' so you can interpret as you like. Please check out the blog for all the rules and information and if you enter you could win some of these fabulous images.
I have used the Goth Girl with striped leggings and a bunny for my card - giving it a Halloween feel! You'll be getting used to that here though! You can find the image over at the Etsy shop. I have coloured her with Promarkers and mounted her on black card and fussy cut. The DP I have used are from Graphic 45 - both the Steampunk Spells and An Eerie Tale paper pads. The sentiment is from Create with TLC and the Halloween stickers are from my stash.

Take A Step in the Dark!

It's Wednesday, it's September, it's nearly Halloween!!! It's time for another challenge at A Step in the Dark. This fortnight, our sponsor is Delicious Doodles - or Delicious Darkness if you prefer! I have used the 'Angel of Death' image to create a 'Chunky Page'. This is a 4x4 inch work of creativity - I punch to top left corner and have them on a binder ring like a little book.

I have used Promarkers to colour parts of the image and Glossy Accents on the black eye. The image is mounted on purple and black pearlescent papers. The web dye is Cheery Lyn and the gravestones are from Tim Holtz on the edge die. I've finished by edging the whole thing with Black Stickles.

Pretty in Pink at Crafting by Designs

Good morning! Time for a new challenge at Crafting by Designs and this week we are all about Pretty in Pink. Of course, I couldn't have mine too girly! I have used the Tiffany in Wonderland image from Milk Coffee and coloured her with promarkers. The DP is from the Berry Blast paper pad from Ki and I've used black paper for matting. The embossing folder is the 'Tea Party' folder from Couture Creations on some pink core Core'dinations and sanded. The card is finished with a sentiment from Create with TLC and some card Candi.

Open-Minded Crafting Challenge #18 - Job Related

Good morning! It's time for my midway project for the current challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenges. This fornight our theme is 'Job Related' and I think my card is a bit late! I created this around the end of the school year in time for thanking our teachers for their hard work - the challenge does coincide with Labor Day in the US so it still works! Our sponsors this time are Aurora Wings, Digital Delights by Louby Loo, Faery Ink, Scrappers Delights and Sentimental Susan.

I have used the image 'Stack of Books' by Sentimental Susan and coloured this with Promarkers. My papers are from Fancy Pants and the sentiment is from a magazine freebie stamp set.
